Need Tutoring?

Many programs at UCSD are dedicated to offering free and accessible tutoring for students. If you are struggling, do not wait to seek help! Below is a comprehensive list of tutoring services at UCSD. 

The Writing Hub

The Writing Hub can assist with any type of writing assignment and project. They provide writing workshops and online/in-person one-on-one writing tutoring. Some tutors also specialize in college-specific writing programs (MMW, CAT, or DOC). Click below to be redirected to their website.

OASIS MSTP

The Math and Science Tutorial Program (MSTP) through OASIS "provides academic support to undergraduate students in lower division chemistry, math, and physics courses via workshops and drop in tutoring." They hold workshops each quarter that meet a couple of times a week to provide additional learning. Workshops are specialized for specific professors and classes. OASIS LATS 

The OASIS Language Arts Tutorial Services program (LATS) through OASIS "offers writing support to all UC San Diego undergraduate students through individual tutoring and workshops with topics ranging from first-year college writing courses to research and professional development." Some tutors also specialize in college-specific writing programs (MMW, CAT, or DOC).  Click below to be redirected to their website.

Academic Achievement Hub

"The Academic Achievement Hub (AAH) offers Content Tutoring for 33 courses, and 7 departments/divisions." They work closely with faculty to provide the best tutoring. They offer:

  • Content Tutoring

  • Supplemental Instruction (Includes Study Groups)

  • Learning Strategies

At the beginning of each quarter, they usually visit your classes to announce the schedules regarding study groups. However, you can also seek one-to-one tutoring. You can also find them on Canvas under "Supplemental Instruction." Click below to be redirected to their website.
